Morzine
Located in the region of Haute Savoie, on the French border with Switzerland, Morzine is one of 14 resorts set in a picturesque valley in the heart of the Portes du Soleil.
Although well adjusted to cater for all types of mountain activities, this former slate town has retained all of its traditional charm, allowing it to preserve its original structures and features throughout.
With its traditional wooden chalets and slate roofs, Morzine is steeped in the Savoyard charm one would expect in a bustling Alpine town.
However, Morzine has a lively spirit and offers plenty of excellent bars and restaurants that are ideal to enjoy some après ski after a hard day on the mountains.
All this just 90 minutes from Genève.
